An Exam Question May 27, 2010

True or False question:
“Everyone will answer the same on this question.” (2p)

On the table in the class room, there is a sealed envelope. Let us state the above question on this exam, but I as the examiner also chip in a response. That is, my response in the envelope is “False” or “True”, and it is valued exactly as your responses to this question.

However, my credit (2p or 0p) will be added to all your scores on the exam.

This was one on the questions on the Exam. The idea here is that in order to apply Game Theory to this question you first need to address what my pay-offs are.

You might be interested in what the participants played. 8 played False and 3 played True.

I did play False, so you all get two additional credits (points) on your exam. Congratulations!
